CHANDIGARH: As countdown for the fourth season of IPL has begun, youths of the city are once again looking forward to seeing their favourite cricket stars in action.
The reshuffle of players has led to fresh expectations in the minds of young cricket fans, as this season promises to be more exciting with the entry of new players to the Kings X1 Punjab squad and two fresh teams to the Indian Premier League.

The fans of the city are happy as they will be able to witness some more cricket after the brilliant world cup victory.
"This time IPL will be very different from the past three years as there are some new players in the Punjab team. It is nice that cricket season will go on for another two months as a mix of cricket and Bollywood adds spice to the routine life," said Jagpreet Singh of Sector 17, Panchkula.
Talking about the new captain, he adds, "The performance of our team will increase under the captaincy of Adam Gilchrist who is one of the best batsmen and wicketkeepers the game has ever seen."
While some believe that Gilchrist's entry would be beneficial for the team, many girls are disheartened as their favourites Yuvraj Singh and Brett Lee will not be representing the Punjab team.
"We will miss Yuvi and Lee as we are in the habit of watching these hunks play for the Punjab team. Moreover, Yuvraj's presence would have been valuable for the team as currently he is in great form and played some good cricket during the recent world cup," says
Gungeet Kaur of Mohali.
It is not only the international players who are the talk of the town as youth are also expecting some good cricket from the domestic players who are part of the Kings XI Punjab Team.
"Though International players have great experience of playing, we should not doubt the potential of domestic players as some of the best talent has emerged from there," said Kapil Goyal, a student of Panjab University.
